Fall in Colorado

Fall in Colorado

Fall is in full swing. The weather is cooler, the colors are warmer and the air smells of pine and smoke. It is a great time of year.

I have been meaning to get out into the mountains to get some photos of the Aspen’s this year. But it’s has been too busy. Hopefully it will still happen. But of course that doesn’t mean I can’t take pictures in town. You might never know. Of course I just told you … shoot!

Anyway, this photo is called “Glistening Red.” It is a tree in my neighborhood. I just love the light streaming through the leaves. It adds so much character. It’s interesting if you think about it. Leaves give their best right before they fall. How many of us do that? Knowing something is about to end, do we show our best colors or our true colors?

I hope you continue to enjoy the colors of the fall! I am excited.
