Mashed Potatoes
In keeping with the baking theme here, i made my pumpkin pie again and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. So here’s the pics from the potatoes.
I started off with some Christmas music – just for my mother who was appaled that I didn’t listen to Christmas music. I had a hard time finding some in my iTunes. But did find Steven Curtis Chapmam’s Music of Christmas.
Then it was on to the potatoes. I start out with Colorado Potatoes – buy local y’all 
Then washing and pealing and boiling ensued.
Then of course, MASHING
Then I added shredded cheese: Parmesan, Asagio and Fontana. (My brother wished I had added more cheese. My normal recipe for mashed potatoes has a lot more cheese in it.) And I added vegetable broth and whipped it up.
And presto – mashed potatoes with a special Thanksgiving Message!
So there you have it – more cooking with Alicia. Of course, I only cook in November and December – just so you know
