Red Mountain
Earlier this month, I got to go hiking on a new trail. It is just above Manitou Springs. Which is a small arts town just southwest of Colorado Springs.
It was quite a climb but the view was worth it. It was such fun to see the little shoots of green peeking through the ground here and there. There were a few flowers in full bloom also.
What gets me the most is the green buds on the trees. Which you can see in this photo: Green Over the Peak.
You can see Pikes Peak in the background of course. I love that mountain – but I wanted to draw attention to the green leaves coming through. This it one way to use focus in your camera to draw attention to the less obvious elements in a photo.
