Quiet Dawn, Welcome Sun

Quiet Dawn, Welcome Sun

The Photo: Quiet Dawn, a welcome sight.

Quiet Dawn was taken on the west-side of Colorado Springs in Ute Valley Park. The glow of the sun slipping gently into the sky is evident in the east. Emily Dickenson, one of America’s most famous poets sums up the feeling well in two phrases from LXXII:

“I’ll tell you how the sun rose,–
A ribbon at a time. . .
The hills untied their bonnets,
The bobolinks begun.
Then I said softly to myself,
“That must have been the sun!”

Indeed. The warmth of the sun bringing renewal.

The Practicals

Garden Friend CoasterAs January comes to a close, we can’t help but note that Valentine’s Day is approaching. A coaster might be the perfect gift for that special someone. Etsy has changed—you can now order one coaster, two and so forth. Here is a sample of what a gift for a certain guy might look like.

Quiet Dawn is, of course, available for purchase. And before it’s too late, a reminder of our SALE on spring coasters. One set still available looks like this.
