Blossoming Sunshine, see how it grows.
The Photo: Blossoming Sunshine.
Such a happy photo that radiates and lifts the spirits! It is a lily, though not the white of the traditional Easter lily. The white lily has been a symbol of joy, hope and life, a fitting symbol of Easter. This yellow lily is the color of sunshine.
If you recall from your days in science class, green plants get their energy from sunlight. Most crops produce bigger yields with increased sunlight. And cloudiness during flowering may have negative implications for the biggest, healthiest flowers, as well as create great conditions for multiplying pests.
Could it be true that radiating sunshine could have a part in the growth that takes place in our lives, too? Studies show that those with a sunny gratitude attitude are happier, more optimistic and even healthier!*
That old nonsense kid’s chorus had something to say to us after all: “Climb climb up sunshine mountain, heavenly breezes blow.” Blossoming Sunshine, the color of happy, the color of growth. Bring it on….
